USA shipping: customs & tariffs

Due to recent regulations, shipping from France to the USA is harder than before. We can still ship items, but some types of products will have extra VAT applied to them.

⚠️ Customs duty and tariffs have to be paid by the SENDER (DDP, duty paid) so that you don’t have any extra fees once you receive your package. We ensure we’re properly declaring everything on our end so that the amount you pay in the cart includes everything.

‼️ The formula applied by shipping services so far is the following:

Customs duty: 22% of the declared products amount
Processing fees: 1,40 € + 2,50 % of the total customs duty amount

Example would be:
You buy a 12,00 € keychain
Customs duty: 2,63 €
Processing fees: 1,47 €
TOTAL FEES: 4,10 € (34,17% of the original product price)

👉 Due to that, we decided to apply an all-inclusive 30% VAT on affected items directly in the cart for all products sent to the USA.

Our options for shipping have also been narrowed to only the most expensive shipping options for now, and we sincerely apologize for the trouble, as we’re sadly not responsible for this decision. We recommend using proxy services, and have them contact us to arrange a Group Order.

⚠️ EXCEPTION: paper items are shipped like before

PAPER/FLAT items are NOT AFFECTED by customs/VAT and can still be sent like before, for a much cheaper amount than other items. It includes:

Stickers and stickers packs
Prints and photocards
Artbooks

We still try to offer the best solutions available so that US customers don’t have to pay too much as compared to before, and compared to the rest of the world.
